Strategic Collaboration Between Infosys and Anthropic
Infosys Ltd has announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions for complex, highly regulated industries. The partnership brings together Infosys Limited, a global leader in digital services and consulting, and Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research organisation.
The collaboration will initially focus on the telecommunications sector through a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence, before expanding into financial services, manufacturing, and software development.
Integration of Infosys Topaz with Anthropic’s Claude Models
At the core of this collaboration is the integration of Infosys Topaz™, the company’s AI-first offerings, with Anthropic’s Claude family of large language models, including Claude and Claude Code.
Together, these technologies aim to help enterprises automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery, modernise legacy systems, and adopt AI with the governance, transparency, and reliability required in regulated environments.
Focus on Agentic AI for Enterprise Transformation
A key focus of the partnership is agentic AI that systems are capable of independently executing multi-step, long-running tasks such as claims processing, compliance reviews, and end-to-end software development.
Using tools such as the Claude Agent SDK, Infosys and Anthropic will help organisations design and deploy AI agents that can operate persistently across complex business processes.
This approach supports enterprises in reimagining their operating models by blending deep industry expertise, advanced AI capabilities, and large-scale engineering execution.
Industry-Specific AI Solutions Across Key Sectors
The collaboration will deliver tailored AI agents across multiple industries. In telecommunications, AI agents will modernise network operations, improve customer lifecycle management, and enhance service delivery.
In financial services, they will enable faster risk assessment, automated compliance reporting, and more personalised customer engagement. In manufacturing and engineering, Claude-powered solutions will accelerate product design and simulation, reducing R&D timelines.
In software development, Claude Code will support faster coding, testing, and debugging, with Infosys already deploying these capabilities internally to build expertise that will directly benefit client engagements.
Management Commentary
Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic, highlighted that deploying AI in regulated industries requires deep domain expertise, noting Infosys’ strengths across telecom, financial services, and manufacturing, with its teams already using Claude Code to build compliant, industry-grade AI agents.
Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys Limited, said the collaboration represents a strategic leap in enterprise AI, aimed at helping organisations become more intelligent, resilient, and responsible by accelerating AI-driven innovation across financial services, engineering, and manufacturing.
