The collaboration expands Optiemus’ electronics manufacturing portfolio into high-value connectivity products used across automotive, telecom, industrial automation, energy, and smart infrastructure sectors. These modules are essential components that enable wireless connectivity in connected vehicles, industrial IoT devices, telecom infrastructure, energy management systems, telematics, and smart city applications.

Partnership Details

Under the partnership, Optiemus Electronics will manufacture Quectel’s portfolio of automotive, 5G, 4G, Cat-1, and other cellular communication modules at its manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

These modules are critical building blocks to enable wireless connectivity in connected vehicles, industrial IoT devices, telecom infrastructure, energy management systems, telematics and smart city applications. These products are high-value communication modules that form the backbone of next-generation connected devices and digital infrastructure, unlike traditional electronics assembly.

Why Does This Partnership Matter?

The collaboration marks Optiemus’ entry into a higher-value segment of electronics manufacturing, expanding beyond smartphones and consumer electronics into industrial and enterprise-grade connectivity solutions. The partnership for Optiemus diversifies its product portfolio into sectors with long-term structural growth, such as automotive electronics, industrial automation, telecom equipment, energy, smart mobility and IoT.

Wireless communication modules will be in high demand as industries adopt 5G, IoT, connected mobility, and smart infrastructure. Optiemus can benefit from India’s growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem and reduce imports by manufacturing these products domestically.
